Emberlyn is a designer’s tangible interpretation of the free-spirited imagery in Tagore’s Stray Birds, and also a gentle tribute to women breaking free from constraints and blooming with ease and grace. The silhouette features an A-line full-skirted shape, where layers of lavender tulle and pale lilac mesh are stacked like a twilight canopy, creating a soft, shifting halo of light with every step. The halter off-shoulder neckline softens the shoulder and neck line, while boning construction shapes a refined hourglass silhouette. Layers of mesh are combined with lace panelling and extensive openwork cut-outs, creating an airy, lightweight transparency. Bead stitching, hot-fix rhinestones, and crystal embellishments are interwoven throughout, while embroidered threads trace starburst-like leaf veins. Scattered beads and crystals resemble morning stars, capturing the quiet stillness and brilliance of dawn within the garment.
