Semi-abstract form is the characteristic of Joan Miró's works. In this design, we attempt to highlight the decorative design of the dress by incorporating with laces and metallic elements. The metallic honeycomb pattern enhances the irregular lace design on the dress to express the concept “strength in softness”, whereas the off-the-shoulder visual effect is created with the combination of the lace and translucent A-line silhouette. The lace on the bodice is deliberately arranged to create the layering for the skirt, which has overlapping pleats of warm and cool coloured tulle. The dreamy sense of the dress is highlighted with the ruffles extending from the cufflinks, which also enhanced the overall design of the dress.
