"There is no trade here; there is no rich or poor; there is no contract, no inheritance, no boundary; treason, felony, the use of swords, halberds, knives, guns, cannons, and all weapons, are all eliminated. ......" What Shakespeare describes in “The Tempest” is an ideal world imagined along the lines of British writer Thomas More's concept of utopia. With this concept, the designer recaptures humanity's most pristine and beautiful fantasies about the future and nature by overlaying the lace from a French lace manufacturer, Solstiss. The imported shimmering mesh is used to create the skirt, while the abstract flowers fall gently downward. The clean and elegance pleats on the skirt also allows designers to transform the soft mesh into a radial pattern.
